2.1 Corporate
Growing the capabilities and capacity of the organisation through long-term funding commitments and increasing membership.
2.1.1 Develop and sustain a strong financial base;

2.1.4 Maximise membership and member benefits;
2.1.5 Engagement and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders;

2.2 Policy Influence and Lobbying
Influence policy development at all levels of government and build commitment to, and be an outstanding advocate for, the Rockhampton Region.
2.2.1 Develop and maintain strong links with local government and local state government agencies;
2.2.2 Develop and maintain strong links with local, state and federal representatives;
2.2.3 Support lobbying requirements for specific issues through strong advocacy;

2.4 Grow Regional Business and Industry
Investigate, identify and pursue economic growth and diversification through business innovation, growth and investment opportunities through the Rockhampton Region.
2.4.1 Lead and facilitate the continual improvement of the business and investment climate of the Rockhampton Region;
2.4.2 Identify new industry opportunities and lead infrastructure and business investment attraction initiatives for the Stanwell Industrial Corridor and Fitzroy Agricultural Corridor;
2.4.3 Provide assistance to Rockhampton Regional Council with responding to major business and investment enquiries;
2.4.4 Develop strong research and development links and collaborative initiatives between CQUniversity Australia and emerging and existing businesses;
2.4.5 Provide opportunities for local business to develop resilience to better cope with economic conditions.
2.5 Promote the Rockhampton Region
Raise the awareness at local, regional, national and global levels of the competitive advantages of living, working and investing in the Rockhampton Region.
2.5.1 Develop and maintain competitive advantage analysis of Rockhampton Region for business;
2.5.2 Construct and maintain image library and promotional collateral;
2.5.3 Undertake promotional campaigns for investment attraction, skills attraction and generic awareness of Rockhampton Region.
2.6 Consultancy of Project Management Services
Provide a range of consultancy and project management services that contribute to the economic development and liveability standards of the Rockhampton Region.
