The Business Excellence Awards celebrates excellence, distinction and innovation in the local business community. This prestigious annual event is dedicated to flourishing businesses in the Rockhampton Region.
Leading business consultants have contributed to the submission process with a comprehensive Business Excellence Tool for entrants to gain a valuable insight into their business performance. A free review will also be provided if applicants wish to obtain professional feedback about their application prior to submission.
This year's Awards will also incorporate the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards.

Creative Avenue New Business of the Year Award
Organisations or franchises that have commenced operation since 1 January 2009
Exceler8 Small Business of the Year Award
Organisations with 5 or less employees
The Rock Building Society Medium Business of the Year Award
Organisations with 6 to 20 employees
Stanwell Major Business of the Year Award
Organisations with more than 20 employees
Oshen Innovative Business of the Year Award
Organisations that use and/or provide innovative solutions to meet customer requirements
CQUniversity Australia Community Contribution of the Year Award
Organisations that make a significant contribution to the wellbeing of the community
Kennas Outstanding Business of the Year Award
Organisation that demonstrates an exemplary level of excellence
Export Award Categories:
Trade Queensland Emerging Exporter of the Year Award
Organisations in any industry sector which has been exporting goods or services for three years or less
Trade Queensland Exporter of the Year Award
Organisations demonstrating outstanding export achievement in any industry sector which has been exporting goods
or services
Other Award Opportunities:
Kennas "Destined for Greatness" Mentoring Opportunities
The recipients achieve judging panel vote to receive a Business Health Check and formulation of a customised Financial
Roadmap to further their business development. These winners will be selected from the new, small, medium and innovative
categories.
CQHR - Human Resource Prize Package
The recipients achieve judging panel vote to receive a HR Coach Staff System which includes installation and a mini HR
Audit. Winners of this package will be selected from the medium business category.
