Associate your Business with Excellence

With less than eight weeks to go, now is the time to take a few minutes to use the Business Excellence Tool to assess your business in preparation of your submission into the 2010 Capricorn Tourism & Economic Development and Ergon Energy Business Excellence Awards.

The Business Excellence Tool was designed by local company Performance People and looks at the 6 Elements of Excellence used to judge this year’s Awards.

The benefits of participating in the awards program include:

• Judges’ feedback is provided to each entrant;
• Business mentoring opportunities available;
• Opportunity to heighten the profile your business

Information sessions are planned for Yeppoon and Rockhampton to help guide entrants through the submission process. These sessions will be presented by Geoff Higgins of Performance People, with Julie Tanner of Tanner Consulting providing tips on submission writing.

Capricorn Tourism and Economic Development Chief Executive Officer, Mary Carroll, said these awards are an ideal opportunity to heighten your business’ profile in the Rockhampton Region.
